Pros

-> Professional excellence without micro-management -> Prioritizes actual competence in our marketing initiatives for the sake of serving the interests of our clients over simply maximizing revenue at the expense of our partners (one of the reasons why GP has the great rep it does) -> No BS environment means emotionally healthy feedback loops within a supportive atmosphere -> Always an opportunity to grow and learn -> Work hard, play hard mentality

Cons

-> No 401(k) match -> The typical ups and downs of a start-up feel culture, from managing what it looks like to scale to having a more scrappy mentality. This has both its pros and cons!

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback! “A refreshing company culture” … music to my ears! Since I joined the team last November, I’ve been doing my best to create a culture that's fun, collaborative and engaging. I’ve always said we spend most of our time at work so we should enjoy coming into the office. Aside from the company being feedback oriented and the management team being transparent, our team lunches, happy hours and quarterly events definitely play a big part in the amazing culture we’ve built at Growth Pilots! In addition, you mentioned there’s always an opportunity to grow and learn and I couldn’t agree more! Through our $300/quarter learning stipend, internal and external happy hour workshops and resources available (LinkedIn Learning is a game changer!), I find there’s never a shortage of learning to be done. Lastly, we absolutely recognize the significant value a matching 401k plan would have on the team. This is something we're hoping to roll out in 2019. Until then, we'll continue to offer a 401k plan for employee contribution so team members can save for their future! If you have any further feedback to share, please don't hesitate to email me directly at stephanie@growthpilots.com. All the best, Stephanie People Operations Manager

Pros

- The most amazing coworkers + a management team that doesn't mind getting their hands dirty! - CULTURE! (fun, collaborative, engaging) - Super transparent at all levels of the organization (communication is key at GP) - Feedback oriented (there's no shortage of feedback given from employees + management) - 100% employer paid Medical Benefits (with Dental + Vision being rolled out in April) - Flexible PTO (and you're actually encouraged to use it!) - WFH Wednesday's (yes, please!) - Quarterly Bonuses (always a pleasant surprise) - Commuter Benefits ($100/month) - Learning + Development Stipend ($300/quarter per employee to attend seminars, webinars, trainings, etc.) - Breakfast Burrito Monday's (we're on a mission to find the best breakfast burrito in SF) - Friday Team Lunch (we currently order through Caviar and get to choose exactly what we want for lunch) - Quarterly team outings (Napa Trips, Boat Rides in the Bay + Bowling to name a few) - Close to Montgomery BART Station (love the easy commute)

Cons

- There is never a shortage of work so the days can get long (but they sure go by fast!) - With any company scaling, there can be growing pains. However, the Management team is being proactive about this and taking employee feedback into consideration along the way.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review! We appreciate hearing about your experience and are glad to learn that you enjoy working with your team members and our unique work perks. We care very deeply for our employees and like to provide fun benefits like Friday team lunches, in-office happy hours and quarterly events. Just as you said, focusing on employee morale and happiness will pay off in the long run! We are growing quickly which presents its challenges. We are dedicated to always improving the areas where we have gaps and look forward to implementing more changes over the coming year to make Growth Pilots an even better place to work. If you have any additional feedback or ideas, don't hesitate to reach out to me directly at stephanie@growthpilots.com. All the best, Stephanie People Operations Manager
