Pros

What I love about GrowthForce are the small things, like whole company bonding events almost weekly, and company financed half day team outings. The company feels like a family/community of its own. Other than the friendly competitions (holiday decorating, costume contests, etc) there is very little competition or drama in this company. I have worked for many companies, and dealt with many managers and owners, and all I can say is GrowthForce, has become my dream job. No one yells, no strife or passive aggressive managers. Steve the CEO will literally stop at your desk, have a conversation with you, and makes you really feel heard. I've never had that from a manager before I joined Growthforce. Here are a few examples of what makes GrowthForce so amazing: -Not only do we specialize in Non-Profit accounting, but we volunteer at non-profits as a team. -Managers are like coaches, giving you the resources you need, guidance when needed, and a sounding board for new ideas. and they know and appreciate the hard work their employees do, because they do the work too! -When your personal life hits unexpected hardships, they care enough to help in ways you couldn't imagine (your work is covered for you, your teammates will check in on you, sometimes they will donate gift cards or send flowers as well to try in any way they can, to show you they care). -Employee recognition and input is like nothing I have ever experienced. If you have a good idea, you're encouraged to explore your idea, and if it works, it might become the new company standard.

Cons

If your salaried, and you don't work 40 hours a week you won't get your full salary, this is the first company I have worked for that has done this to their salaried employees. The PTO could be a little more since there isn't a separate sick pay policy. I feel as though these are minor cons.

Pros

Nothing but positive reviews here. Steadily innovating and improving how to be more of a "people-first" oriented company. People-first meaning their own internal people truly first, not the façade of appeasing the crowd, clients, and etc. they keep SMB and NPOs the focus, and they operate internally like a family of teams. Mangers are solid, and the Sr. Management Team continues to press for even more engagements downward, so it s a win-win across tiered relationships. Tons of out of office engagements, and not just annually, so staving the corporate cold shoulder is a lot warmer and richer here for work-life balance.

Cons

Not really any. People over profits mean just that. They reinvest it back into the organization, so you have TONS of company sponsored events, team outings/lunches, tech to work remote, etc ... just getting to a higher tier of pay (beyond a COLA bump, which in itself is still a blessing), can be a bit slower paced realized over time - but the journey there would be awesome.
