Pros
The people are top tier. Because we are a smaller startup, I know everybody here and I can say that everybody is a top tier human first. We are a tight knit group. Everybody works hard and demonstrates extreme ownership. Very rarely am I ever having to pick up someone else's slack.
Work life balance is top priority. If I need to leave during the work day for any reason, there is no hesitation or even second thought of judgement from anybody.
The product is phenomenal. When I first started, I was blown away at how far the product was compared to the age of the company.
The customers we work with are also great. For the most part, most of the customers I work with are great people and partners. Not much drama or backlash. This makes my job much easier.
Pay is also competitive compared to other opportunities out there.
Cons
With any startup, you are constantly having to do a lot. There is no coasting here. At the same time, this to me isn't a con but I know it can be for some people.
The other struggle is because we are adapting so quickly, sometimes product releases can cause some issues. Again, this is a struggle but at the same time, shows we are constantly rebuilding and improving.
Not a lot of upward mobility or career progression. We are growing year over year but it it not hyper growth like other SaaS companies.
Work in office everyday. A hybrid schedule would be ideal.
