Pros
Vacation time and health insurance
Cons
-Lacks training . You're not properly trained. Then questioned why you're not trained after 9 months. -You're shuffled around In different areas before you even have time to learn 1 area! - Individual who would occasionally help "train" was never willing to actually teach. It was if it was bothering him or a burden. -Any mistake made, the person "training"would throw you under the bus, tell the boss you are not understanding, complain about your work, and make themselves look better than all others. - A mistake is made (because you're not properly trained) you are threatened to be written up. -When you are notified about the write up, it will be in front other co-workers. Especially in front of co-worker who throws everyone under the bus. The department proceeds to talk bad and make fun of you. - Management will take sides of the employee who continues to spread trouble. (The one training, but also the one throwing you under the bus) In turn, that employee spreads more issues, causing unnecessary stress. -If you are a full time college student. Even going for something aviation related. Expect to be told you need to work all the required OT. If you can not work the OT due to schooling, you're told it's held against you. - Management spends all time in the office, ignoring the real issues on the floor. Example:Ignoring the fact training is non-existent , but paying attention to the fact you're not trained in the amount of time expected. - Management will not talk to you on issues. They send someone to ask or tell you. (Hiding behind a desk type). - Management will send you on your own, without proper training, then you get in major heat for making mistakes (things you're not properly trained on). - communication is not there. - you need to be part of the good old boys favorite club to advance. - too much bad mouthing. Instead of bad mouthing people, try helping them where help is needed.
