Pros
I've been working for Gurtam for 5+ years and grew from an HR specialist to a team leader with no prior leadership experience. I saw pretty often that people have a chance to grow or try some the other directions. I really witnessed that Gurtam is people-centric and the interests of each employee are taken into decision making when it is possible. During the relocation period the company cared a lot about its people feeling at home and having many chances to adapt to the new environment. Most of people I dealt with were very engaged, supportive, friendly but not necessarily easy to deal with on daily basis. The company has high expectations from everyone and my team had to keep up with that level. Some years back the company organized several 1-week workations for all employees paying for hotels, tickets and everything. It still lives in my memories :) I didn't experience any incorrect attitude or behaviour to my side. I do not even understand what the other comments are telling about. Some roles are paid very high but most of them are on average higher than the local market offers. Best performers were fairly compensated but in most cases you first need to show that you deserve it with your hard work and proactiveness (not just talks); The company is very stable, responsible to employees and partners - I have never heard about lay-offs or the other reputation risks. Overall Gurtam is a structured well-established company, at the same time there are very corporate teams and there are more startup-like ones. Still management tries to keep everything in order and get rid of chaos. So if you are a startup kind of person, it may be hard environment for you (but it depends on the team) [Neutral factor] The company is more about an office-first culture so it may work perfectly for some people and be not acceptable for the others. There are a lot of interesting staff happening in the office as yoga classes, hackathons, celebrations and so on. Free lunches is a super benefit to add on the top. [Neutral factor] The company has a high percentage of expats so the Lithuanian language will not be the primary language you hear in the corridor.
Cons
The company tends to use internally developed tools for separate departments. Some of them may be wonderful, the others may be not that great. There are business reasons for sure but be aware if this is critical for you :) Telematics field is something you are supposed to understand, especially if you work with clients of Gurtam. The company trains newcomers from scratch however the adaptation period is very demanding and intense. So if you receive a job offer to business development, technical support or something like this and you have no sincere intention to learn the domain deeply and in detail, I recommend you to consider different companies. Some teams may be bureaucratic due to various reasons but still. Some processes may feel as if existing for the sake of processes. If it is important for you, it is better to double check it with the hiring manager. They have no reasons to hide the truth as the company caters for long-term employment.
