      Pros

      Great work-life balance (because of the European founders). Working on improving US healthcare, which we all know needs help. Small and lean teams minimize the amount of politicking on a day-to-day basis.

      Cons

      A difficult industry to enter with long sales cycles. Most customers take 18-24 months to close and are very large, leading to large ups and downs in the business. Growth can be limited because of the small team sizes.

      Pros

      Good people. No egos even at the executive level was a real relief compared to other tech companies.

      Cons

      Lack of product development process meant preventable mistakes happened all the time and everything was twice as hard as it should have been. The company was struggling to find a product market fit. Hospitals make terrible technology customers; they have no incentive to innovate.
