Pros
The greatest value of the school has to be it's curriculum. It is one of the best that I have seen and really gives students a head start in relative to traditional public schools. If families commit to appreciating that curriculum, their children will be setup nicely for the future. The school is also hyper committed to finding opportunities for improvement. Whether it is through program partnerships or empowering school leadership to find ways to engage the scholars better, this company is looking for continuous improvement.
Cons
The main con of the institution is the pay and the lack of quality teachers. As some teachers are exceptional in their role and clearly make a meteoric impact in the lives of the scholars, many teaches are incompetent in their roles starting with their lack of understanding of their subject matter. The flawed teachers also work to learn how to manipulate the system rather than impacting their scholars. This creates a bottleneck effect where other teachers further up the line of education have to not only teach their subject matter but correct the gargantuan errors of the poor teachers who had the scholars prior to them. There is not a large pool of quality teachers running to take a low paying job with high demands of skillset and attention so I can't blame the school for the lack of quality teachers.
