Pros

Great Work life balance, This company really cares about their employees and their clients, that makes my job really easy. The onboarding process went extremely well. They really want to make the process easy, so they expect us to provide feedback. I feel valued and my ideas are welcome. I see a path to promotion. My Management listens to me. Diversity is valued. As a Mother who had gaps in my resume. I was pleased with HNTB. The recruiter looked past my resume. He took into account what I did before kids and my volunteer experience and my relationships. They hired me because of the potential that I showed not the words on a resume. It was like I hadn't skipped a beat by having to stay home with kids for so many years! I work with young people and more seasoned employees such as myself, we all work well together and all opinions are valued.

Cons

HR is not onsite or in the state they are in KC so it is not a seamless process to get answers - An example: I had a question concerning my expense reporting and it took me 2 days to get to the correct person, because they are located in another state. but that is not really a problem because next week a top HR executive is coming to Michigan from Missouri to meet with the employees here!

Pros

While the culture varies by office, I found the California offices to have a very friendly, collaborative, and energetic atmosphere. The company also puts genuine effort into its internal events, consistently investing time and resources to make them well organized and enjoyable for employees. In addition, there is a strong culture of continuous learning. Employees are encouraged to develop new skills, and the company provides meaningful support for professional growth and ongoing development.

Cons

It used to be a great company, but its rapid expansion has made the organization feel less structured and less efficient. Compared with many other firms, the workload is exceptionally heavy, and there is a strong expectation that employees will work through long, exhausting hours to meet demanding deadlines. Performance expectations are also very high. As a result, employee turnover is significant, and it is not uncommon for people to leave or even return to their previous employers.
