Pros
The people who work at HNTB are, for the most part, really bright, full of energy, and interested in having fun at work. This is the most fun place I've ever worked. People are genuinely friendly to one another and interested in helping one another. For the most part, management is committed to helping employees succeed. The company supports monthly fun events for employees.
Cons
There is some competition or lack of cooperation between different divisions. Management is resistant to change. Focus on metrics and short-term performance that skews decision-making. Some decisions are penny wise but pound foolish, may save costs this quarter but will be much more costly in the long run.
