Goals change so frequently sometimes it felt as though all the hard work was for nothing.
Competitive environment so you need to show your value outside of your role to get assistance and build a brand/ name for yourself.
Internal opportunities "require" referrals and building rapport with that team. Otherwise your application is ignored.
Salary raises are not great so negotiate your incoming salary well.
Your direct manager shapes your experience, not a con necessarily. Poor managers or shift in management can impact your experience heavily.
