Culture, pace, team based approach

Some processes were always changing and convoluted

Hutton has a very unique culture that finds the perfect balance between hard work/dedication and a relaxed environment. The people are fantastic and flexible. Very welcoming culture that is almost family like. There is a monthly celebration that recognizes new hires, birthdays, retirements, company achievements, etc... Senior management does not micro-manage and is very results oriented. Your responsibilities and goals (many of which you define for yourself) are made very clear through a unique review system, where you are fully accountable for your own success. They encourage the sharing of new ideas to bring efficiencies to the company from all levels. There is a lot of opportunity to contribute and leave a lasting fingerprint on the overall organization.

There is a lack of structure in certain areas/departments. Information can be difficult to find due to lack of consistency from one department to another. However, given the approach-ability and receptiveness of upper management, this presents opportunity for the person who wants to help drive change and make an impact. It is easy to get frustrated with this at times, but positive changes are being made week by week.
