Hard work, long hours, unfortunately tied to pathmark, which is slowly going out of business. - Merchandiser Haddon House Employee Review

Pros

One starts out as a merchandiser, which pays well for the job, which is mostly packout. From there, you can get your own route and have a pretty good middle class pay. Management was also great. District Managers and Sales Managers alike.

Cons

Having a route can be difficult depending on the stores. Waldbaums are typically pretty good, but Pathmarks tend not to be vendor friendly.

Pros

Worked on my own with no supervision.

Cons

Too much to stock in one night since I had another job and my time was limited.

Pros

You work by yourself with no boss around so when you are criticized it isn't directly and you can make your own schedule, you just might be working all day everyday to get it done though and are never appreciated for it.

Cons

Credits ruin your check. Management will blame things on you. You work commission so never know what your getting paid and the management is not experienced with the stores their dealing with leaving you feeling like you know more then them and they don't understand. Customer will always come first in every situation affecting you. Not worth the sweat or headache in my opinion.
