Your observation regarding the absence of an option to carry forward leaves at Halodoc has been duly noted, and we would like to address it. The decision to implement a policy of no carry-forward of leaves was not taken lightly but was rather a thoughtful measure aimed at promoting the well-being and work-life balance of our entire workforce.
Before implementing this policy, we recognized that many of our employees were not utilizing their leave entitlement throughout the year. This raised concerns about potential burnout and the need for our team members to prioritize their mental and physical health. Therefore, we made the decision to encourage a healthier approach to leave utilization by removing the option to carry forward unused leaves.
Since the introduction of this policy, we have been pleased to observe a positive shift in leave utilization patterns. Our employees are now taking time off more consistently, ensuring they have the opportunity to recharge and maintain a sustainable work-life balance.
