Pros
Great people are found throughout. The work is interesting and impactful and the experience valuable. It is an industry known name and has come a long way to match formerly dominant peers. It’s a good firm to get industry exposure. Work life balance is the best part of working here, but it comes at a price.
Cons
Are you male, Caucasian, condescending, and have a tall horse you ride on? Well then please do apply. This place is increasingly homogenous, and females especially, are exiting in droves but many are being forced out. The politics permeate through every level and merit based performance is only partly rewarded. Managers are silenced because they have to fall in line or they will suffer as well. Those that do fall in line and fit the prescribed mold, are very identifiable. Aside from this, the industry low pay does not warrant the passive aggressive abuse that has infiltrated and infected the firm. It’s a good place to learn but an even better place to use as a skipping stone.
