The core mission; providing students an opportunity to pursue their educational objectives in a relatively stable environment. The opportunity to move forward in ones area of responsibility to promote/foster positive change.
Cons
Innovative ideas do not always move at the "speed of business". Not the best environment to be in if ones expectations in terms of acknowledgment of good ideas or rate of change have been shaped by the observations of more progressive organizations with a similar mission. Salaries are not competitive.
