Pros
I have been employed with HansaWorld for more than four years. During this time, the company has been very flexible with me allowing me to work from home (as well as anywhere else that I choose) and work flexible hours that suit me. I have also moved countries during my employment and have been able to continue working as if nothing changed. I have recently returned to the company part-time after enjoying eight months of maternity leave. I was eager to start working again, however, with long childcare waitlists, I am unable to work in a physical office as I am the primary carer for my child. The company was more than happy to accommodate my request to return part-time, from home, during hours that suit me while I continue to care for my baby. The company has been very supportive in my return to work, making the transition extremely comfortable. I feel very fortunate to be able to watch my child grow without having to sacrifice my career.
Cons
I would have liked to have seen more of my colleagues during covid - however, we are now back to traveling the world and seeing each other once again!
