Pros

Plenty of food offered during the day and lunch is free. Exposure to new technology Good Benefits

Cons

Open office environment is not conducive for team unity or workload. People are constantly looking over your shoulder or walking up to your desk to ask for help instead of using the ticketing system. There are too many meetings that take up valuable time that you will need to get your work done. You will be under constant surveillance to make sure your ticket counts are high, and reprimanded when they are not. There is also no warning regarding certain meticulous customers who will need service, which will put you at a severe disadvantage as to how and when you can solve their problems, as management does nothing to make the situation easier for you to deal with. Preferential treatment is the name of the game here, so hopefully you are on the right team when you begin employment. There are no opportunities for upward mobility here. Management may promise that to you, but it never happens.

Pros

Good benefits, pay, and perks like in-office food

Cons

Very top-heavy and patriarchal organization with little room for growth and development for those at the bottom. There are a few favorites who get all the resources to be developed, but otherwise, they'll overwork you until you leave and hire from the outside to backfill roles above you. There are a ton of middle managers and not enough people on the ground doing the day-to-day work. This organization is obsessed with keeping head count around 200 for no clear reason at the expense of their analysts.
