Pros

Discounts on HT branded items Twice yearly bonus checks

Cons

Small stores with one person in a position are expected to do the same workload as the large stores with multiple people working that same position. Honesty is the fastest way to get run out. When the corp. people ask a question, they want to hear the line they believe and not what is really happening. No matter what happens or where the breakdown was, it is always your fault. You should have contacted them to let them know they screwed up. Not their fault you didn't tell them that they aren't doing their jobs correctly at the mother ship. Part timers dictate when they want to work. Full timers are expected to fill all the gaps and not complain when you have two people running a customer service oriented department. Human resources is a completely biased department. Their job is to keep the low paid workers there no matter how they behave. If you are part of a group that checks a diversity box, do whatever. Maintaining equipment is not a priority for them. They do not do anything until something completely breaks and then they do the minimum required to get it running again. All levels of management plays favorites and it is obvious. HT is owned by Kroger now. Promises were made about all the benefits we would see from being part of their holdings. Lower Prices on everything because of their supply chain was the big one. Prices have steadily increased while quality has decreased as they replace HTs suppliers with theirs. Which we were told wouldn't happen. Kroger is Union. HT is viciously anti-Union. Want to guess which employees get better pay and treatment? Kind of strange... would seem if we are part of their family we would be entitled to the same protections.
