Pros

People were good, office was clean and some good people in the main office in the UK.

Cons

Whatever it was, management was inept and did not expand the client base and relied heavily on 1-2 major clients. Invested a lot in marketing but not in substance and tried to convert their image to "consultancy" with no legit track record. Converted commission program to quarterly bonus so they could point to not meeting targets" as reason to stiff all; resulting in a mass exodus. Lost major client and quickly sold the company which had little value.

Pros

Great recruitment process - short yet thoughtful. Onboarding was great, lots of company pride/swag. Unfortunately, fades out over time.

Cons

Little to no career guidance. They place you with a client that dictates your everyday experience. Unfortunately, I was placed in an investment with a lot of attrition and low morale. Hatstand did nothing to amend this or provide any real support - either by instilling its own supportive environment or providing a mobility plan for roles beyond this client. They tried to connect you with older consultants who often rambled about their own experiences rather than providing any form of mentorship. Overall, Hatstand lacked any sense of identity or company culture in the US market.

Pros

Good company culture, people are friendly, lots of company events, dynamic environment, personal training budget Communication is easy and direct, benefits are not stellar but are ok.

Cons

Salary is not as average for a similar position elsewhere, using personal training budget means you have to stay with the company for certain amount of time or pay it back.
