Pros
Gaining experience, more skills and knowledge
Cons
At first it might seem like things are ok and the chaos is hidden but the longer you stay pretty quickly you see there are some serious systemic issues and dysfunction here that run deep. First, a fair deal of management and HR do not keep confidential employee info confidential. Reputation and profit are prioritized. There's a lack of accountability and honesty here.
Generally morale is super low here compared to other places, there's definitely a lack of team cohesion, structure and communication. People that are in charge of training you can just refuse to train and help you, and nothing corrective will be done about it, which for one, is a safety concern working with aircraft. Generally people do not like to help each other here and there is a strong competitiveness and desire to slow others down for personal gain.
You get treated more like a pawn and object than a person. There is a pattern of manipulation, deceit, power games, triangulation, and intentional isolation of some people.
Generally it's a hostile work environment with a lot of cliqueyness, constant putdowns, yelling, etc. There's a real problem with harassment, things that fall under the category of stalking, other disturbing behavior.
Also a lot of relatives working here
You can find a place somewhere else where you are happy and in a place that is a positive influence, and probably blossom there
