Pros
HLX is a great med comm agency to work for, especially in such a competitive arena. They offer a fast-paced work environment, frequent company-paid travel to client events, an affordable benefits package and are generous with vacation and sick time. There are days when you do work after hours , but I personally find there to be a solid work-life balance. When you enjoy what you do and who you work with, answering a few emails after 5:00pm doesn't bother you. Very professional environment with mutual respect and understanding between superiors and employees. Definitely a team-oriented setting, but a good amount of independent work as well.
Cons
No deal breaker cons. Possibility of long work hours and frequent travel. They are very clear about this from the beginning, so you know exactly what you are signing up for.
