Brutal politics with limited to no upside. Leadership ranges from lost to micromanaged to abuse. Seen meetings where brilliant hard workers are fired and then leadership grins like hyenas knowing they will always survive another moon. Helps to be white. Seriously department is a joke for any serious software developer 👩‍💻 and expect to play nice in hallways but know no one is your friend and expect painful days ahead
