Pros

Great building, cafe, gym. Great brands.

Cons

Like most magazine publishing companies, Hearst is trying to find new streams of revenue. But top management is very old school and slow to change. They are trying to make efforts on the digital side but the whole company needs to be restructured. The brands are strong but definitely losing value (Oprah, Good Housekeeping, Road & Track). Many are also losing audience to digital publishers.

Pros

Well-organized and good communication. As a contractor, I found Hearst to be a pleasure to work with.

Cons

I don't have any cons to report other than that the accounts payable is out of North Carolina and can take 60 days to receive payment.
