Pros
Amazing life saving technology, the HVAD product is amazing. Hoping that in the future, MVAD will be the next generation product at HeartWare that will save more lives. The CEO is great.
Cons
Very, very difficult to get resources. Even senior management struggles to get administrative resources. Big divide between the Framingham office and the Miami Lakes office, 2 very different cultures that clash on a regular basis. Turnover is starting to become a major issue and hiring people into the company is challenging due to HR not having a strong team and the proper resources. HR needs to address the turnover issue and come up with a strategy.
