Pros
Best Place I ever worked, until it wasnt.
Cons
Human Resources and upper management decided it was better and more cost effective to keep a salaried employee who created a hostile work environment and get rid of a dedicated hourly employee who was a target of the hostile behavior. In my 2.5 years at Heely Brown my performance was always satisfactory, always showing up early and staying late, having a positive attitude, volunteering for extra duties and responsibilities. Whereas the other individual just rides the clock and complains all day. Heely Browns Human Resources decision when a complaint of a hostile work environment was brought up was to "work it out among yourselves." After dealing with this for a year and trying to reach a solution with my immediate supervisor through that duration I knew there was nothing left to "work out". I reluctantly resigned before I was fired for refusing to show up for work, to an environment I deemed toxic and unsafe.
