Upper management didn't push back on unreasonable clients and worked managers to keep trying to produce content with unrealistic expectations. Lots of double standards were in place if you weren't friends with upper management and when trying to point it out, management would turn a blind eye. Constantly told that if you need help to just reach out, but there was a lack of support when you actually needed. Minimal training and opportunities for career growth. No standard to when people were promoted and consequently, people were promoted to roles they weren't ready for. "Processes" were put in place to ensure everyone was accountable for their actions but these processes were only enforced on people who weren't friends with management. These processes were also breached constantly but nothing would be done to fix it. High turnover of staff.
