Pros

* Helpshift is a high-quality tech product with some major "big name" customers. It's very exciting and motivating to watch the product team consistently roll out new features and clap for the Sales team at the end of each week as they announce the next high-profile customer they signed on. * The mission is clear. You will know what to do, why you're doing it, and be proud of the result when you do it well. * Culture wise this is a relatively young group of employees in the SF office. Don't be fooled: everyone here is whip smart and highly efficient. It's been very gratifying for me as a young woman in tech to feel like my peers and I are genuinely valued and respected for the quality of our work. * Delicious catered lunches and highly enjoyable weekly "wine down" happy hour and team update ritual.

Cons

Could be a pro or a con depending on your workstyle... Helpshift is a very successful company but still has a startup culture. People give 100% every day and are very passionate about their roles. They learn the product's intricacies, remain vigilant when it comes to written communications, and generally wear multiple hats. This is not a company where you will enjoy sitting around and doing nothing. It's a great place to work hard and seeing as it's small, you will be recognized and see tangible results when you give your all. Additionally, Helpshift doesn't offer the same hyper-flexibility that some larger Silicon Valley giants do around working from home/working fewer hours - advance notice, communication and thoughtfulness are key.
