Run away - Software Engineer HexTransforma Employee Review

I got to meet some lovely people and the office space was nice

It's very hard to summarise the amount of cons that could be listed for this company. Starting with an obvious con, is the lack of payment on time throughout my employment and since I've left. It's been months of waiting for news of payment and there is no clear sign of when I and other former employees will be fully paid for the time we worked at Hex. The CEO seems friendly at first, but after working with him for some time you realise that he manipulates any negative situation that happens at the company to make sure he is never held accountable for anything that he causes. The company claims to be a diversity champion, however I saw many instances that were beyond disrespectful and showed a real lack of understanding or empathy for anyone that didn't follow the CEO's outlook. To say that this company gave me and others mental and emotional stress would be an understatement. There are many other things that could be mentioned, but the main point to be made from this is to never ever work for this company and definitely not for the CEO.

-Shady practices, -Narcissistic and manipulative CEO, -You will rarely be paid on time, if at all, -Likely to be discriminated against, -grievances will be ignored if they involve higher-ups. -Recruited people through Universal Credit as pawns to receive funding. -Initial refusal to make simple accommodations (Equality Act 2010) despite one of the partnering with a charity for the same condition! -Blatant transphobia by the CEO who then proceeded to slander the victim. The cons could continue.
