Pros
Fairly easy tasks; loading and unloading parcels and packages. Driving a route using navigation app through your phone. With it being a split or having a layover six to eight hours of downtime.
Cons
It’s split shift. So starting at 420AM loading at USPS hub at the airport. You’re expected to be out within an hour or so. Give or take the quantity of the outgoing mail and if machines are working properly to distribute the mail. Upon completion of your route you are to return the truck to the Yard(place of business). You’re expected to return for the second leg of your route in the afternoon varying depending on your route. So having to come back in once more to pick up mail from your stops you drop off in the morning. Once you completed your route you take the parcels and packages back to USPS Hub and place it in its proper place. This is a repeated process six to seven times a week given your route you may have.
