Pros
A lot of good people work here, and it is seemingly a relaxed atmosphere.
Cons
People are not taken seriously and their opinions are not valued to upper management. The new ownership just wants to make the company exactly the same as their previous company. Middle management is useless and inexperienced in all of their roles. People that are quiet do well and are left to do nothing all day. Good luck getting anything done if you do not fit into the existing clique. People that are driven to make positive changes will be put down and will not be allowed to give their opinions. They would rather keep the status quo than listen to their employees. They treat their production level employees like animals and do not respect the work that they do for the company. Safety is considered a nuisance by the management team and safety improvements are ignored for more profits. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the upper management focused on making thank you videos they forced the company to watch instead of investing in safety processes and ppe equipment. All middle and upper management started working from home, while the production team worked without provided masks. They still worked very closely to each other and delivered parts hand to hand. The management worked very hard to do the least they could do while still following the minimum requirements from the government. The company is slowly transitioning from Milwaukee to where the new ownership is in Ohio. They stopped investing in anything in Milwaukee and started phasing out roles in Milwaukee and re-hiring that role in Ohio. I would not start a job here in Milwaukee if you are hoping to stay there.
