Pros
Seniors are extremely supportive. Having gone through the same toxicity, they have figured out the loopholes to deal with the king and queen(co-founders) of the company. They will always have your back and help you out when required.,
Cons
If you've been drawn in by their fancy talk, things like "funded by Harsha Bhogle," "competitive environment," or "play games at work," pause for a second. They actually have nothing real to offer.
If you're a fresher, be extra careful. Your first job sets the tone for your career, and a bad start can mess things up. Here, they expect you to know everything within the first month. And if you have any concerns, they’ll just gaslight you under the word "hustle."
You'll always feel on edge, worried about losing your job. There's constant comparison, favouritism in appraisals, and bias everywhere. The founders only see things from an ROI perspective, so much so that even the number of hours you spend on a software or how you use a company laptop is scrutinized. One of them is so snobbish that they’ll micromanage down to commas and alignments in your docs.
Oh, and most of the positive reviews here are planted.
If you’ve already accepted their offer, it’s not the end of the world. Just don’t settle. Find another job and switch ASAP. They might try to trap you with bonds and other tactics, but honestly, you can always walk away from a toxic workplace. Your mental health, especially as a fresher, should come first.
P.S. Stay away from their HR team as much as possible. They work for the management and not you. Don't overshare.
