Pros

I honestly can't think of many. It's an extremely relaxed environment. "Nice" owners.

Cons

It's a scam. A huge part of the company is telemarketing. They change the name of the company every week, so that they can call the poor homeowners who have asked them to place them on the "do not call" list again and again. Yes, I'm saying that they LIE to the customer about the name of the company. Imagine what else they're lying about. So once the telemarketers swindle the customers into letting HMS come to the house to do a free water test, they send out a sales rep. The sales rep goes on and on for about an hour in the unsuspecting customers home. He'll explain how they all have cancer, because of their water quality is bad and he'll literally do magic tricks with water to convince them that they're all drinking and bathing in poison. Then the sale is made. So what's it like to work there? Well, not great. You constantly feel bad (or at least you should) for lying to these poor home owners. They actually tell you to target retirees and single women because they're easier to manipulate. There's also the fact that you can and will be laid off every couple weeks without prior notice whenever the owner feels that he isn't making enough profit. The owner drives a Bently to work everyday just to rub it in his employees faces.

Pros

potential for high income IF leads are converted to sales - weekly pay but no direct deposit , little to no supervision

Cons

owner and son ran operation, they dont pay for training , instead they give you a bonus on the first two sales made to make sure you dont quit and run off with 500 bucks after training, the leads are not certified or verified , they will send you over a 100 miles from where you live , mon thru sat work week sat is a half day mon thru fri is 10am to possibly 1130 pm depending on how late they set your last appointment - they hope they can get the type of employees who are desperate for money and late on bills, extremely unprofessional atmosphere-basically if you are desperate, i mean desperate, and willing to take a boss disrespecting you in front of co-workers for money this job might work for you , for everyone else look somewhere else - P.S. - be wary of any boss that has to tell you that they drive a bentley or a maserati (which they will tell you on the phone) they're desperate to make themselves appear to be successful to make you believe you could be too
