Great team, very welcomed. Great view of the water

Different hours, still flexible though

-Really great application & interview process -Good, fast, and easy communication -However...

-Got a phone call from them offering me the job and I accepted over the phone. We planned a start date and the manager provided me with details I needed for my first day (except they didn't tell me my pay and I spaced out and forgot to ask, but they should've told me that regardless) -About three days before my start date, I got an email one morning saying they were taking back my job offer and decided to go with someone else who has more hotel training/experience. I told them during the interview that I didn't have previous hotel experience, but they were okay with that and said they were willing to train me anyways. I responded back to their email in a professional, respectful, but strong tone and received no response. It was a waste of time for me due to the fact that I stopped applying/interviewing for other places because I thought I had a job secured. I would've expected more from one of the top-rated hotels in Bellingham. I understand them hiring someone else who has more experience, however don't hire me and get my hopes up and then completely take the offer back.
