Pros

An opportunity to help patients in need of help obtain their medication

Cons

This company prioritizes profit over both patient well-being and employee welfare. Management culture is deeply problematic employees are frequently belittled in subtle, indirect ways that avoid accountability while still creating a toxic environment. Performance Improvement Plans are often used unfairly, not as genuine development tools, but to make supervisors appear effective or to push employees out, even when performance does not warrant it. There is a noticeable lack of accountability among certain members of management, some of whom contribute very little yet continue to hold their positions. Meanwhile, frontline employees are overworked, stressed, and treated in ways that border on emotional abuse, which is normalized as “part of the job.” Raises and recognition are inconsistent and often only occur when employees threaten to leave, rather than being based on hard work, loyalty, or performance. Employees who give their best without ultimatums are frequently overlooked.

Pros

Yearly company retreat, anonymous surveys that check in weekly to see how you feel about the job and your contribution very fair starting wages and quarterly bonus opportunities leadership really makes themselves available I’ve meet the CEO twice in less than 6 months and I’ve never meet a CEO for any company I’ve ever worked for so that really is extremely refreshing

Cons

The only con I have is that I wish that cross training was done after 6 months our so of you in your core position there big on keeping the queues clear, but a Patient will call and it’s something I can’t help with and I have to say I’ll get someone to call you back and now where playing phone tag with them

Pros

Pay is competitive, benefits are reasonable, and coworkers are generally supportive and collaborative. The majority of staff are pharmacy technicians or pharmacists, which creates a knowledgeable and skilled team environment

Cons

Interruptions during workflow are frequent—for example, phones being reactivated while documenting patient information. When supporting multiple locations, these interruptions increase the likelihood of mistakes and make it harder to stay organized. Staff contributions are not consistently acknowledged. Special observances like Pharmacy Technician Day or Pharmacy Week are sometimes overlooked, which can leave employees feeling undervalued. Management turnover is frequent, leading to inconsistent communication, unclear priorities, and difficulty understanding long-term expectations. Advancement opportunities appear limited, and leadership roles are often filled externally rather than promoting internal staff. Communication between teams can also feel inconsistent, contributing to a sense of disconnection from decision-making.
