Pros
Pay was good, many jobs to choose from; There was a bonus program for teachers, although nobody outside of HR understands the process by which bonuses are awarded. Christmas off, summer break
Cons
Student behavior was horrible, administration was not particularly supportive. Insurance was the worst I have ever had (Aetna). Opportunities to work summer school - although the summer school program seemed very thrown together and was not well-managed at all. Living in Houston is extremely unpleasant.
