Yes, you are paid higher in NES. However, you are overworked, you WILL WORK for that pay. I am not just an AP in charge of being an instructional leader, I am also Testing Coordinator, GT Coordinator, LPAC Coordinator, Discipline Coordinator, in charge of ALL ASPECTS of each of those individual positions as well as my responsibilities as an AP. So yes, you get six figures, but you are working 6 people job.
