- Location - Opportunity for salary raises and bonuses - Opportunity for promotion within school, but this depends on the school - Cost of living in Houston is low, and salary is appropriate

- Very high-stakes testing driven - Lots of staff turnover in specific schools - High rate of TFA teachers - Many teachers leave for KIPP, Yes Prep, or other charters - Experience just really varies by school.
