Pros
The best colleagues I've ever had! There are people here who are in their 20's and also many people who grew with HS and have been here for 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25+ years. I go home every day confident in the integrity of the people I work with, including colleagues and management. Everyone is collegial and willing to share expertise. An uplifting mindset of being positive is encouraged and modeled. Mitch is a great CEO who really cares about his employees. I've had other CEO's at other companies, and only one was equal in terms of having a basic decency and desire to do the right thing - and knowing what the right thing really is. Transparency is a given at HS. Promises for advancement are honored and I've seen it happen many times. Decisions are streamlined. Accurate and timely accounting has always been consistent. It's not a boys club - everyone is treated equally. Women rise to President level positions within the different teams. Recruiters are respected and have independence/autonomy/flexibility. We work normal business hours (no nights, or weekends). I'm relatively social, so I enjoy official and unofficial team outings, lunches, drinks, etc...but I have friends here who would rather not partake - and that's fine because it's all optional - not enforced. We have different types of people, so it's not a corporate clone factory. People can really be who they really are and feel comfortable. It's a privately-owned mid-sized company with one owner and about 70 recruiters, so there is no bureaucracy or red tape at all.
Cons
The website can be improved, but the nuts and bolts of the organization are solid, the people are awesome, and it's a fun place to work.
