Pros

Company is currently going through significant change.

Cons

Hubexo is a business that appears to be operating with a short to medium term exit strategy in mind, driven by the priorities of its three private equity owners. As a company assembled through multiple SaaS acquisitions over the years, it has never fully cohered into a unified organisation with a clear, consistent identity. For prospective employees, this means that strategic direction can shift overnight with little warning or explanation. Communication from senior leadership is often vague or inconsistent, and there is a notable absence of transparency around key decisions. When things go wrong (as they frequently do in an environment with this much structural uncertainty) accountability rarely sits with those who made the decisions. Instead, blame tends to filter downward to those with the least authority. A persistent issue is senior leaders making decisions on matters that fall well outside their depth of understanding. There is a culture of acting on incomplete information, particularly when it comes to individual products and the businesses that were acquired to build them. The people who know those products best are rarely consulted, and when outcomes disappoint, ownership is conspicuously absent from the top. If you are looking for stability, clear career progression, or a company with a coherent long-term vision, this is unlikely to be the right fit.

Pros

Great Place to be employed! 401K is incredible! Unlimited PTO! Fun!

Cons

Nothing comes to mind - stuff happens at every company - with this one, yes, a lot of changes are happening, with change (for the better), there is often hiccups. Good or bad, it is with any company that is worth its weight.... people will find reasons to throw blame, merely as excuses for lackluster performance on their part. With growth comes challenges, and if you aren't up to the challenge, to do your part, then best not work for a company that is always striving to be better at what they do. In reality, isn't that the way every company thinks.... or should think?
