Pros

1. They got lucky finding product market fit solely due to the pandemic 2. They are willing to throw money at problems like a typical funded beyond means startup

Cons

1.Great PR around leadership, but no real leadership exists. Just fancy hires who are marketing themselves more than what they are worth. 2. They are trying really hard to look like a US based company and seem to be forgetful of their roots in India. they now treat their Indian employees like second class citizens.their Indian leadership isn’t all that great either. 3.It’s a dump of all the people who are riding on a lucky streak than their own talent. Do not fall for words and advertising, it’s an environment that resembles the dead sea for your career. 4. great for all first timers as you would find a lot of similar people who don’t know what they are doing either. Maybe that could lead to some learning. Beware of fake reviews on Glassdoor saying great company. All the good people who have seen the reality, have left the company. If Interviewing for marketing, sales or cs, run without means. Don’t look back.

Pros

Due to it's ridiculously fast growth and expansion, there is a ton of opportunity for employees that are excited about and enjoy the rapidly changing environment that comes along with crazy growth. Proactive, curious, growth minded individuals can try their hand at a wide range of projects. Nothing is set in stone, and there is room for improvement everywhere, which means anyone/everyone is able to contribute new ideas, suggestions and processes and leadership on done are receptive to all of it. The funding situation is great, which allows the org to select and implement the latest tech stack as desired, and to take the risks needed to experiment with new programs/projects. The event space is being completely reinvented right now and has no clear front runners with insurmountable advantages. The leadership team is doing their best to learn as they go and become a people first organization, and open to feedback accordingly.

Cons

For the same reasons above...the organization is somewhat chaotic due to the rapid growth. People that want to sit quietly working within a concrete process and aren't comfortable with rapid change and uncertainty...are likely to be dissatisfied. The leadership team is still in the learning phase and trying to build a strong culture where there hasn't been one...the con of that is...it takes time and it's not in place (the pro is you can help influence it). The company is global, and fully remote. Timezones and remote work present big challenges for strengthening team bonds and finding good times to collaborate so flexible schedules and clear communication are a requirement.
