Pros

- Table is always open for ideas (and ideas are challenged too) - Speaking up and being forthright goes a long way - Flexibility is there once trust is established - Almost like a startup; If you want to, you can learn across the departments (can be a 'cons' too as sometimes this is required)

Cons

- Will be hard for those who struggle or prefer not to speak up - Almost like a startup; You'll be asked to assist across department (Can be a 'pro' too as you get to learn cross department stuff) - Small team means often lead to some bottleneck and chaos - Overtime happens. Like any agency - Will need to figure out and set own boundary

Pros

Hybrid mode, that’s the only pros

Cons

- Work-life balance is pretty much non-existent. OT is expected, and if you stay back every day, you’re basically the “golden child.” - Management is all over the place. New systems get introduced every now and then, but before anyone actually uses them properly, another new system comes along. - The boss rarely listens to new ideas. Most of the time, you’re just expected to follow whatever he says, even if it doesn’t make much sense or feels outdated. - There’s no proper HR or admin. The boss wants to handle everything himself, so a lot of things end up becoming bottlenecks because he’s busy doing everything. - Expect random weekend calls for “urgent” work with no heads-up. Sometimes you spend hours on something that doesn’t even get used. - The company will squeeze everything they can out of you. Even on your last day, you’re expected to OT. Don’t expect much appreciation, bonuses, or increments. Even simple claims can turn into a negotiation. - During Ramadan, Muslim staff have to ask if they can leave earlier. Management (boss) won’t bring it up unless someone asks. - Public holiday arrangements are always last minute. You usually won’t know if you’re getting the day off until the very end.

Pros

They cannot retain talent and are desperate, so everyone who joins already knows they are just here to do their stint, level up, and move on with whatever laurels they can collect. If you have at least half a brain, you can go there as a stepping stone without adding much value... Oops did I spoil it for you guys by revealing this?

Cons

To last here, you have to put up with people who are just competent enough to sit on top, but too dumb to realise they are only sitting at the top of the bottom of the barrel. A lot of unwarranted self importance. That is the reality of the leadership culture.
