Pros

I enjoy working for a company that expresses a keen desire to make a difference in the communities they are in. Hypertherm walks the walk in ESG/CSR and CST. They added an additional day this year to our paid community service time, to bring our paid CST to 40 hours a year for each associate.

Cons

Still drinking the great kool-aid here, but I have little bad to say. There has been turnover in staff that are expanding their careers into different industries, but I am not sure this is a con for the company. Time will tell.

Pros

Profit sharing is nice if we get it.

Cons

Hypertherm broke two federal laws and put me on a discipline program for a protected activity. After I successfully completed this discipline program I went to human resources with concerns I had. I also reported sexual harassment at one point. Hypertherm fired me for reporting sexual harassment. That's the second federal law they broke. Reporting harassment is a protected activity according to the EEOC
