Pros

Descent work atmosphere. Had the opportunity to work with some very talented people. Good mix of lean manufacturing practices and old school tricks to get the job done in a quick manner with good quality. Team approach to problem solving. Managers aren't afraid to ask what you really think about a process or a plan that they are considering moving forward with. Opportunity to receive training and certifications. Great insurance!

Cons

Lots of time spent in meetings. Definitely some growing pains as they are moving towards lean manufacturing processes. Supply chain headaches were a daily reality. Pay was ok, but not where it should be for the level of skill required to do the job.

Pros

Profit sharing is nice if we get it.

Cons

Hypertherm broke two federal laws and put me on a discipline program for a protected activity. After I successfully completed this discipline program I went to human resources with concerns I had. I also reported sexual harassment at one point. Hypertherm fired me for reporting sexual harassment. That's the second federal law they broke. Reporting harassment is a protected activity according to the EEOC
