Pros
As someone who was out of the workforce for several years due to starting a family, I was naturally hesitant to begin working full-time outside the home. I’ve worked for various companies over the years, and I’ve come across many different situations, people, and teams. Of all the places I’ve worked, I would say Morey Creative Studios is hands-down the best place I’ve ever worked at for various reasons.
From the first day, I was warmly welcomed by co-workers whom I now consider family, and never once did I feel out of place, having been out of the workforce for awhile. Working here is a true team effort, and having worked at places where I was told to just “figure it out” or “no one is going to help you, so don’t bother asking,” it is refreshing to be able to ask for (and receive) help when needed!
Morey Creative has by far the best PTO/floating holiday package I’ve experienced. When my children are off on school holidays, I don’t have to worry about finding childcare because I need to work, and rather I am able to take days so I can spend quality time with my family.
While sometimes things can be fast-paced and busy, I find comfort to know that we will all work together to get the job done successfully for our clients.
The company’s social justice, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), and accessibility initiatives have also made an impact regarding how they discuss and examine important issues that need to be talked about and brought forward. I know these have already made a difference in my life, and are doing the same for others.
Cons
Can’t really think of any!
