Pros
The people are nice and work hard. The environment is fairly relaxed
Cons
I observed very quickly that the on-boarding process was virtually non-existent not just for myself, but for colleagues who were hired after me. This company struggles to build processes or conduct internal improvement.
I repeatedly had trouble being signed up for benefits. After a great deal of back and forth, an HR person at ID Systems finally admitted that I was never signed up for health insurance, though it was deducted from my paychecks for several months. They are honestly extremely lucky that I didn't get sick or into an accident while working there. Getting my 401K account set up was also a headache despite no fault of my own.
