We are a firm believer in compensating our employees fairly for their efforts. Many of our incentives are exclusive to non-executive IAT employees and our pay for performance model rewards individuals who go the extra mile. We paid our largest bonus pool (excluding the executive team) for the 2017 performance year and 94% of employees received a bonus. This was in addition to the $3,000 tax plan bonus paid to every non-executive employee in January. We also have published career paths and skill training opportunities to support them. More than 70 of our employees have received career advancement opportunities already in 2018.
In addition, the work-life balance of our employees is incredibly important to us, which is why we do offer the opportunity to work from home in certain circumstances at the discretion of managers. However, we also believe that having a presence in the office makes our employees more connected to one another and our goals. I encourage you to share your concerns with your manager during your mid-year review this month, and also to share your desire to grow. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.
