      Ruined my life - Production Foreman ICL Group Employee Review

      Over all great company and very safety oriented

      Cons

      After 9 years working at the hammond plant and working my way up to production foremen, I hurt my back on their property right before I clocked in, fast forward 3-4 months and a surgery later and I'm basically back to 100% they decided to let me go, when I asked what is it that I did wrong, the plant manager at the time told me they just don't need me anymore, no other reason other than that. I know damn well it was because they saw me as a liability, sorry for lifting heavy bags all day every day, and making the company millions of dollars for 9 years. Only to be let go.

      I learned so much and got so many skills that I still use to this day. Fun culture.

      Pros

      Remote based role. Very solid direct manager who is the best I’ve ever worked for. Most employees on my team have worked for the company 10+ years so shows a lot of stability within the team. Lots of L&OD opportunities if that is of interest. Lots of competitions.

      Cons

      Salary could be more competitive. Work pace is a little slow. No room for career growth. It is a pretty large organization.
