Pros
As far as I.T. goes, the company is well organized. For the most part, it is a laid back place and I liked most things about working there. What I miss the most is my old co-workers. I owe a lot to this company. ICM gave me the opportunity to learn some technology that shaped my future career. I would not be where I am today had I not had the opportunity to work there.
Cons
Like with anyplace, your experience may be different depending on who your manager is and what department you are in. My experience was pretty good, others not so much. It is an extremely volatile industry. I worked there for over 10 years, and with the exception of about 1 or 2 years, I was always on edge about whether I would be laid off. As with any place, some managers do play favorites here. It was my experience that management does not follow through on their word. If you are promised something, get it in writing. It is a small company, and you are not going to get paid the same for the same job at a bigger company. This is one reason I left. No more room to grow financially.
