Awful training!! No one training knew what was happening or when.. Chaotic coworks lives going on live on screen during training and work. Must ask like youre two for a bathroom break.. required to be on screen camera at all times.. my guess is, due to a few (more like a lot) bad seeds... taking advantage and disapearing for extended periods of time. Very last minute (day before, after we had asked for 2 weeks and they werent sure) we were all told we were required to work a government holiday. RUN!

Once you are certified in your position through the Union, you have a pretty stable position

Cons

IDES frequently micromanages EVERYTHING. Field Office Supervisors (FOS) are appointed without an interview based on seniority. Expect to be cussed out multiple times a day/per week by people, although we are allowed to immediately end the interaction in these situations. We were also instructed (IN WRITING BY MANAGEMENT) to work off the clock, which is wild considering what IDES handles.
