Pros
There are no pros at IDLife aside from some of the people that work there (non-managers).
Cons
IDLife will initially bring you into the company with many promises about career growth, opportunity, leadership opportunities, compensation, etc. None of this is true. Management will always lie to make you feel important. Don’t believe them. IDLife is a family owned business, and managerial opportunities are non-existent unless you are part the family. Nearly everything that is communicated by the CEO or the President of the company is a lie, so be careful about what you believe from them. As specifically said by the CEO in a company-wide meeting, there won't ever be raises, bonuses, or promotions. He does not believe companies should give yearly raises to their employees, or “pat them in the back” for doing a good job. Career advancement is nonexistent. IDLife is where careers come to die. No matter how much they say you will be promoted, that the company is growing and you grow with it, it is not true. In a period of 6 months over 7 people have quit, and very few of them have gotten replaced. The workload is passed along to existing employees who are incredibly overworked and severely underpaid. Management tell everyone (especially new hires) that those people got fired, but it is not true - they all left on their own. Apart from the constant lies, broken promises, there is absolutely no communication. Promotions, sales, and announcements are decided hours, if not minutes, before they go live. The executive team does not listen to reason, or ideas to improve this. Everything is blamed on the company being a “startup”, and they are not a startup.
